| Bijan Farhoudi is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Calgary. The current focus of his research is on the use of Deep Learning algorithms for analyzing medical images of patients with epilepsy. He works under the supervision of Dr. Frank Maurer and Dr. Samuel Wiebe. He has worked in both public and private companies and currently works on projects which use technology to improve healthcare systems. In the last few years, he has worked on text classification, search engines, and implementation of knowledge management concepts. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science with Honors (2006), and a Master of Health Informatics (2010) both from Dalhousie University. |  |
