Parisa Daeijavad is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Calgary. Parisa has a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Engineering and a Master’s degree in IT/Multimedia Systems. During her M.Sc. studies, she has carried out extensive research on Brain-Computer Interface and Human-Computer Interaction using machine learning methods to help people with disabilities to be able to communicate better with their surroundings. Currently, her research interests are in Immersive Analytics, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. In her free time, she enjoys playing the Violin, Roller skating and Cycling. |
